Mission as Worship has Three Aspects Missionfromthecoreoutward.WewantourmissiontobebuiltuponcontinuingencounterwithGod.Inotherwords,wedon’tgraduatefromspiritualformationtodomission—butrather,missionflowsoutofcommunionwithGod.
Intentionalworship.WeofferlovetoothersasaconsciousactofworshiptoGod.JesusidentifiessocloselywithhurtingpeoplethatHesayswhatwedoforthem,wedoforHim(Matthew25:40).
Wholisticmission.Ratherthanbeingcompartmentalized,weareconsistentandintegratedinwhoweare,whatwesay,andwhatwedo.Weproclaimagospelofrighteousnessthathasimplicationsforalloflife.
