4 Installazione di Sophos Anti-Virus perLinuxOccorre accedere al computer come utente root. Se avete già scaricato il programma diinstallazione, potete passare direttamente al passaggio 2.

1. Se non avete ancora scaricato il programma di installazione, procedere come segue:

a) Caricare la pagina http://www.sophos.com/it-it/products/free-tools.aspx.

b) Individuare Sophos Anti-Virus per Linux e cliccare su Download. Seguire le istruzioni perscaricare il tarball su una directory temporanea, ad esempio /tmp.

2. Cambiare la directory temporanea e inserire la tarball: tar -xzvf tarball.

3. Eseguire lo script di installazione: ./sophos-av/install.sh.

4. Il programma di installazione fornisce una guida passo dopo passo per il processo di installazione:

• Quando viene richiesto il tipo di autoaggiornamento desiderato, selezionare Sophos.

• Quando viene richiesta la versione desiderata, selezionare Free (gratuita).

Sophos Anti-Virus per Linux viene installato nella directory specificata.

L'installazione di Sophos Anti-Virus per Linux è ora completata. Sophos Anti-Virus per Linux siaggiornerà automaticamente da Sophos. Per impostazione predefinita, questo processo verràripetuto ogni 60 minuti, posto che il computer sia collegato a Internet.

Sophos Live Protection è abilitato per impostazione predefinita. Questa funzionalità confronta i filesospetti con le più recenti informazioni contenute nel database dei SophosLabs, per stabilire sesiano o meno malevoli. 5 Scansione in accessoLa scansione in accesso rappresenta il principale metodo di protezione antivirus. Ogniqualvoltavenga aperto, salvato o copiato un file, Sophos Anti-Virus ne effettua la scansione consentendonel'accesso solo se sicuro.

Per impostazione predefinita, la scansione in accesso è abilitata. È possibile verificare che siaeffettivamente attiva e se necessario avviarla.

Notaper eseguire i comandi riportati in questa sezione, è necessario essere collegati al computer comeutente root.

In questo manuale si presuppone che Sophos Anti-Virus per Linux sia stato installato nel percorsopredefinito /opt/sophos-av. Se non è questo il caso, quando si esegue un comando, ènecessario inserire il percorso della directory di installazione che si sta utilizzando.

5.1 Verifica che la scansione in accesso sia attiva• Per verificare che la scansione in accesso sia attiva digitare: /opt/sophos-av/bin/

savdstatus.

5.2 Avvio della scansione in accessoPer avviare la scansione in accesso, eseguire una delle seguenti operazioni:

• Digitare: /opt/sophos-av/bin/savdctl enable.

• Utilizzare il tool adeguato per avviare il servizio sav-protect installato. Per esempio, digitare: /etc/init.d/sav-protect start o service sav-protect start.



6 Effettua scansione del computer oraSi consiglia di effettuare la scansione antivirus dell'intero computer subito dopo l'installazione diSophos Anti-Virus. Per svolgere questa operazione, eseguire la scansione su richiesta.

NotaCiò è particolarmente importante se il computer è un server e si desidera ridurre al minimo ilrischio di diffondere virus su altri computer.

• Per eseguire una scansione su richiesta del computer, digitare: savscan /.



7 Cosa accade se i virus vengono rilevatiin accessoSia che i virus vengano rilevati dalla scansione in accesso che da quella su richiesta, perimpostazione predefinita Sophos Anti-Virus per Linux:

• Registra l'evento in syslog e nel log di Sophos Anti-Virus per Linux.

• Invia un avviso e-maila a root@localhost.

Sophos Anti-Virus per Linux visualizza avvisi specifici a seconda che i virus siano stati rilevati tramitescansione in accesso o su richiesta, come spiegato qui di seguito.

Scansione in accesso

Se durante la scansione in accesso viene rilevato un virus, Sophos Anti-Virus per Linux negal'accesso al file e, per impostazione predefinita, visualizza un avviso pop-up sul desktop.

Se non è possibile visualizzare allarmi pop-up nel desktop, vengono invece visualizzati allarmi dariga di comando.

Scansioni su richiesta

Se durante la scansione su richiesta viene rilevato un virus, per impostazione predefinita SophosAnti-Virus per Linux visualizza allarmi da riga di comando. Il virus viene riportato nella riga checomincia con >>> seguite dalla dicitura Virus o Frammento di virus:

8 Upgrade al prodotto supportatoÈ possibile svolgere l'upgrade dell'Edizione gratuita di Sophos Anti-Virus al prodotto supportato inmaniera semplice e veloce, basta essere in possesso di una licenza.

Per effettuare l'upgrade, modificare le impostazioni di aggiornamento in modo tale che da ora in poiil o i computer scarichino il software supportato.

I passaggi da seguire dipendono da come si desideri procedere:

• Upgrade a un'installazione standalone. È il tipo di installazione attualmente in vostro possesso.

• Upgrade a installazioni gestite da Sophos Central. Questa opzione consente di gestire computermultipli da un'unica console basata sul web.

• Upgrade a installazioni gestite da Sophos Enterprise Console. Questa opzione consente di gestirecomputer multipli da un'unica console situata nel vostro server.

8.1 Upgrade a un'installazione standalonePrima di cominciare, verificare di avere a disposizione i dati della licenza.

Utilizzare lo strumento Sophos savsetup per effettuare l'upgrade dell'installazione attuale.

1. Per eseguire savsetup, digitare: /opt/sophos-av/bin/savsetup.

2. Selezionare l'opzione Updating configuration (configurazione di aggiornamento).

3. Selezionare Sophos come fonte di aggiornamento.

Nella versione 9.11 e successiva, è possibile specificare fonti di aggiornamento primarie esecondarie. Per le installazioni standalone non occorre inserire alcun valore per la fonte diaggiornamento secondaria.

4. Quando vengono richiesti, inserire i dati del proxy necessario per accedere agli aggiornamenti (seapplicabile).

5. Per effettuare l'upgrade al prodotto supportato, inserire il nome utente e la password inclusi nellalicenza.

Il processo di upgrade è terminato.

8.2 Upgrade a installazioni gestite da SophosCentralÈ ora possibile effettuare l'upgrade di Sophos Anti-Virus per consentirne la gestione centralizzata daSophos Central.

Per eseguire l'upgrade:

1. Accedere a Sophos Central.

2. Selezionare la scheda Proteggi dispositivi.

3. Sotto For your servers (per i server), cliccare su Linux per scaricare il programma di installazionedi Sophos Central.

4. Eseguire il programma di installazione.



Così facendo verrà rilevata l'attuale installazione di Sophos Anti-Virus, e se ne abiliterà la gestioneda Sophos Central.

8.3 Upgrade a installazioni gestite da SophosEnterprise ConsoleÈ ora possibile effettuare l'upgrade di Sophos Anti-Virus per consentirne la gestione centralizzata daSophos Enterprise Console.

Per l'upgrade, occorre:

• Sottoscrizione a Sophos Anti-Virus in versione gestita.

• Impostazione dei computer in modo che effettuino l'aggiornamento automatico con Sophos Anti-Virus in versione gestita.

• Cominciare a gestire i computer centralmente.

8.3.1 Sottoscrizione a Sophos Anti-Virus in versione gestita

Utilizzare Sophos Enterprise Console per effettuare la registrazione alla versione gestita di SophosAnti-Virus.

Se non si possiede Sophos Enterprise Console

Installare Sophos Enterprise Console su un server Windows. Durante il setup iniziale, accertarsi diselezionare la protezione per Linux.

Successivamente, passare alla sezione successiva.

Se già si possiede Sophos Enterprise Console

1. Dal menu Visualizza, cliccare su Update Manager.

2. Nel riquadro Sottoscrizioni software, per creare una nuova sottoscrizione cliccare sul pulsanteAggiungi, nella parte alta del riquadro.

3. Nella finestra di dialogo Sottoscrizione software, selezionare Linux. Dal menù a discesa delleversioni disponibili, scegliere l'opzione predefinita, ovvero la versione Consigliata.

Successivamente, procedere alla sezione successiva.

8.3.2 Impostazione dei computer in modo che effettuinol'aggiornamento automatico con Sophos Anti-Virus in versionegestita

Su ciascun computer, utilizzare lo strumento Sophos savsetup per configurare gli aggiornamenti.

1. Per eseguire savsetup, digitare: /opt/sophos-av/bin/savsetup.

2. Selezionare l'opzione updating configuration (configurazione di aggiornamento).



3. Selezionare From own server (da server proprio). Inserire quindi il percorso della cartella delserver in cui Sophos Enterprise Console dovrà salvare gli aggiornamenti.

ConsiglioPer visualizzare il percorso di questa cartella, in Sophos Enterprise Console, dal menùVisualizza, cliccare su Percorsi bootstrap. Verranno visualizzati i percorsi per ciascunsistema operativo.

4. Nella versione 9.11 e successiva, è possibile inserire una fonte di aggiornamento "secondaria".Sophos Anti-Virus scaricherà gli aggiornamenti da questa fonte qualora non fosse in grado diconnettersi alla fonte primaria.

NotaLa fonte secondaria può essere un'altra cartella in rete in cui Sophos Enterprise Console salvagli aggiornamenti, oppure Sophos.

8.3.3 Cominciare a gestire i computer centralmente

Per questa sezione si presume che si sia già svolto il setup di uno o più gruppi di computer gestiti inSophos Enterprise Console.

1. In Sophos Enterprise Console, nel riquadro Gruppi, cliccare sul gruppo Nessun gruppo.

2. Individuare il o i computer Linux di cui è stato effettuato l'upgrade. Trascinarli su un gruppo diverso.

Sophos Enterprise Console gestirà il o i computer applicando i criteri impostati per il gruppo inquestione.



9 Disinstallazione di Sophos Anti-Virus perLinuxPer disinstallare Sophos Anti-Virus per Linux:

• Da tutti i computer Linux eseguire lo script di disinstallazione: /opt/sophos-av/uninstall.sh.

Se il programma savd è in esecuzione, lo script ne richiederà l'interruzione.

Dettagli relativi allo script di disinstallazione:

• Tutte le voci presenti nel programma di avvio del sistema e associate a Sophos Anti-Virus perLinux.

• Le pagine man di Sophos Anti-Virus per Linux.

Le pagine man di Sophos Anti-Virus per Linux vengono aggiunte all'ambiente man locale; ilpercorso è solitamente /usr/local/man. Questo percorso dipende dalle variabili di ambiente.

• La scansione su richiesta savscan in /usr/local/bin.

• /opt/sophos-av e i relativi contenuti.
