I - Introduction, Context is half of the work.With my placement i wanted to achieve the knowledge that context is half of the work simply because when i have my context i know ex-actly what i have to do. My placement fits into the context of an artist placment because i will be visiting different places and event and pho-tographing them coming back with pictures that are very informative about different social groups.

II - The Website.I will be workling for a relativly new to this country company called Soon-Night. It has been established and made a very big sucess in France for the past five years or so. The hire photographers to cover events and some times the photographers get paid for doing the events. The web-site has good contacts with people that own and run night club and other venues which sould in turn help me to build up my contacts.

I will be bringing back to photographs and uploading them to their website http://soonnight.com where they are viewed by hundreds of people every day. This provides good publicity for different venues and clubs and gives an insight into what kinds of people visit them.

I will be building up a very large portfolio of images in relation to this project.

Most of my life I have had a keen interest in photography, my interest took off when I was 14 years old. Since then I have continued this passion and I am now studying Digital Photography at London South Bank University. During these six years I have built up an extensive knowledge of Photography, including cameras, digital edit-ing using Photoshop and Aperture, chemical processing and printing.

I have experience in many different jobs including; Sales Assistant, Staff Trainer and Green Grocer. This has equipped me with a variety of skills, mainly people skills, working in teams, merchandising and till operation.

In my spare time I ride a BMX bike almost every day, I have become very interested in this sport. I enjoy skate-boarding, playing guitar and squash as well as working as a colour corrector and re-toucher.
