What is it?

The next Soon to be Famous Illinois Author may be perched in a coffee shop finishing

off the next great novel right now. In a few months that author may be famous.

The Soon to be Famous Illinois Author project will kicked off at the 2013 annual Illinois Library Association conference.

The project sought an Illinois author with a self-published adult fiction book that libraries could help to make “famous.” Joanne Zienty, was the first Soon to be

Famous Illinois Author.
