Please note that English is not my first language but I try to make my patterns in both

Swedish and English so more people can enjoy them, and I will learn better English terms on

the way. If you find any errors you can notify me in any forum.

This blanket is made of big squares that is joined together on the last row, so no sewing, just

crocheting. After that the border is made in rounds.

Aprox. size is 135 x 95 cm. You can make more or less squares to customize your size but

remember to adjust the amount of yarn to your size.

What you need:

Crochet hook 3,5 or 4,0 mm. One square should be about 22 x 22 cm.

Darning needle

Scissors

Picot:

Make one chain. Then you make a slip stitch through the front loop and the front vertical loop

in the single crochet (or dc) just made. See pictures below.





Puff:

Yo, insert the hook into the stitch. Pull the yarn through the stitch. [Yo and insert the hook

into the same stitch and yo again. Pull the yarn through the stitch] 3 more times. You should

now have 9 loops on your hook. Yo and pull the yarn through all your loops. Make one chain

to secure the puff (see pictures on next side)

Spike single crochet (sp sc):

work a sc into one or two rows below.

After every row number is the number of which colour to use

You will make 15 squares that will be crocheted together as you go on the last row of every

square.

R 1 (403):

4 ch. Sl.st in 1:st chain to form a ring.

R 2 (403):

1 ch (counts as 1 sc), 7 sc in the ch-ring. Sl st in 1:st sc.

R 3 (403): Turn your work and crochet from the back side.

1 ch + 1 tr in 1:st sc. (1 sc + 1 tr in next sc) 7 times. Sl st in 1:st ch. Cut yarn!

[Every tr will make a little bobble on the flowers right side. You have now 8 small bobbles]

R 4 (179): Continue crochet from the back side.
