Somni mask is the easiest way to lucid dreaming

FIRST LAUNCH

In order to turn on SOMNImask® you need to
hold down the device button for two seconds
and release. After that, the indication of the
remaining battery will begin

When the device is working, press the button for more than 2 seconds, and the device will go into off mode. Before that, it will show the remaining battery charge.
The battery charge is shown based on the LED color when
the device is turned on or off.
- Green means full battery power remaining.
- Yellow means half the remaining battery charge.
- Red means low battery.
The mask has a test mode function. To enable this mode hold
the button for 7 seconds and release, then LED will blink with different colors, and device will start playing Lucid.mp3, this function is needed to test brightness of lights and sound volume.

You can connect headphones to the device. In order, to connect
headphones, you need to insert the headphone jack into the input
of the device. Audio input can be seen on the picture

There are no speakers built into the device. In order to hear audio
files that are in the device’s memory. You need to connect headphones
to the audio input. Only audio files: Calm.mp3, Lucid.mp3, Alarm.mp3
can be played through the headphones.
Remember, one earbud is shorter than the other.

eye deviceAn eye device is positioned in the eye socket of the mask to record eye
movement. Eye sensors are located in the device window.
The mask completely blocks out the light inside for effective tracking
of eye movement. The device has an accelerometer sensor for head
tracking. In order, for the sensors to record eye movement, you need
to wear the eye mask tightly.
Once you have plugged in the headphones, put on the mask and you are
ready for bed. Firstly, the mask will play a calm melody and then go intosleep mode so as not to disturb you during deep sleep phases. After the
Calm pause time, eye tracking will begin to recognize for REM sleep. If REM
sleep has been detected, the device will turn on Lucid audio and RGBsignals. During REM sleep, you may notice these signals in your dream.
Before using the device for the first time, charge the device for 20 minutes.Then connect the headphones, put on the mask, hold down the button for 2seconds and release. Your device is turned on if a calm melody is playingthrough the headphones.
Tip: You do not need to wear a mask before falling asleep, turn on the maskand put it next to you and put it on at any time of sleep.
For effective use of the mask, put on the mask 1-2 hours before waking upcompletely.

SETTINGS
In order to charge or connect the device to a computer, you need to
connect the device and the computer with the USB wire.
Easily insert the connectors as shown on the picture below.
At the bottom of the device is the micro-USB input, this device
input has these functions: charging the device and connect to
a computer or USB-OTG

After that you can start charging the device or configure it.
To start charging or setting up you need
to hold down the button for 2 second and release

After pressing the button you will see the automatic opening of the main memory window of the device. It works like a USB flash drive.

The device plays the original audio files: Lucid, Calm, Alarm (mp3 only)
To start configuring the device you need to go to the device config page at somni.org/program/
After you have gone to the page, you need to click “Upload” button

After clicking on the uploadbutton, a window for selectionwill automatically open. Select“USB Drive” from the list, thengo to the “Configs” folder andselect the “default.txt” file, thenclick Open.
After you have opened the default.txt configuration file, you will see the configuration page. Follow the instructions on the page and adjust the setings for your convenience.
After setting up, click the “Save settings” button and followthe instructions below

In order to replace the original audio files you need to move your audio to the main memory of device. For example file “my.mp3”
Then assing this audio in the “default.txt” file. Just go to the Configsfolder and open the “default.txt” file, then rename the old parameter“fileLucid Lucid.mp3” to “fileLucid my.mp3” and save the file.
