Sometimes I feel angry...
and everyone sometimes will.
When I get upset and can’t calm down
What is right and wrong when I feel....
ANGRY!!
3
It changes me,My head feels very hot!My chest is tight,I don’t feel rightand my hands feel like they’ll pop!
When I feel angry...
4
when I’m angry I shouldn’t hit or be mean,
He said to make peace,
Instead of to fight,
But tell me,
What does that mean?
Jesus says...
5
When I feel so low,
When someone purposely stepped on my toe
When they said something mean
That I want to say back
When they took my new toy from my own toy rack!
How can I do this?
I’m not sure I know how,
Show me please, I’m angry RIGHT NOW!
How do I make peace?
6
It’s the first step
So gather your breath.
Stop for a moment and wait
Why did they do that?
Did it even make sense?
Should I scream, should I hit, or continue to play?
Pause and think
Maybe squint a long blink
Then take a deep breath when you’re through
Open your eyes and you’ll realize
You’re ready for step number 2!
STOP!
7
With your mouth, not like a grouch
Be real and ask “why did you do that?”
Explain how you feel and that your hurt is real
Many people are nice and they’ll prove that.
But sometimes they won’t hear
Find a listening ear
of a mommy or daddy or teacher
Tell them how you feel and that your hurt is real
I promise it will help... I’m a preacher!

The importance of praying for others
People are mean

They all need our Father.
The One up in Heaven,
Who’s Son He has given
So we could live like Him!
So pray for the person you feel angry against
It will change both YOU and THEM!
