The Transaction.Panel is mounted at the booth’ s wall and conveniently processes the parking tickets and payment via credit cards through the same slot. It accepts data carriers in the form of barcode tickets and magnetic stripe cards as well as contactless data carriers (i.e., keycards). Design: • Self-explanatory arrangement of control elements. • Large, illuminated color graphic display for user guidance • Illuminated cancel button. • Wall-mounting frame for booth installation. • Maintenance-friendly design, using a sliding door system which provides easy access to all internal components. • Lockable swivel door and hinged front panel. No tools required for replacing the Coding Unit. • Additional mounting plate for card reader, key switch, camera, etc. Features: • One ticket slot for different data carriers, including magnetic tickets, direct thermal printing of short-term parking tickets. Simultaneous processing of up to two tickets (e.g., payment by value or credit card). System is prepared for a smartcard reader. • 13 MHz / 125 kHz handsfree-module for processing contactless kecards, all integrated into front panel. • Basic unit is housed in a cabinet fabricated from powder-coated steel. Controls and bezel are made out of polycarbonate. • Thermostat-controlled heating/ventilation. Device is weather-resistant. • SKIDATA intercom system, including a call button. • Ticket bin for fanfold ticket (receipt) with shortage-sensor. • Locked box for retained, defective, invalidated and blocked tickets. • Quality assurance in accordance with ISO 9001. Includes: thermal print-head for visual marking of tickets; KeyAntenna; intercom; color backlit LC display unit–320 pixels x 240 pixels; switchable power supply; heater; ventilator. • Provides additional option of payment by twin-track magnetic cards and credit cards. Unit can issue receipt slips (for details see Coding Unit Factsheet). User guidance is provided in the form of a color graphics display and illuminated pictograms. The transceiver unit for contactless data transfer is integrated into the front of the Transaction Panel. The Transaction.Panel can accept standard credit cards, debit cards, customer cards and system-based value cards in various formats (barcode, magnetic stripe and RFID-based cards) through the same intake slot, thanks to SKIDATA “Single-Slot“ technology. Coder Unlimited is used for simple requirements to accept all types of barcode tickets and follow-up tickets. RFID tickets require a RFID reader in front door (optional).
