Paint color selectionwww.IntegralColor.com
New construction color selection: Siding, Trim, Roof shinglesThe colors were selected specifically to complement the stone work on the chimney and foundation.
Hi Barbara-just a note of thanks for help with the exterior color. It seems like the darkest color..the first one you picked was the unanimous winner! We appreciate your time and patience and will be in touch when we get going more on the inside.

Thank you for your assistance with our house. Your expert color choices sure
made a difference!
The paint colors are GREAT! I have received so many compliments on the
room colors,
especially the hallway color.
I appreciated your list of ideas with the other rooms too. It was a pleasure
working with you.
I found you through word of mouth, and now others will hear about you from

Prior to working with Barbara, my love of color had always led to paint
choices that I became
dissatisfied with after only a short time, and rooms that had no continuity
After attempting it on my own several times, I found Barbara's number
through the web and I am
totally thrilled with the results! She is easy to work with, free-flowing with
creative ideas and
has a great attention to detail.
I would recommend her to anyone interested in - once and for all -
decorating with color and
getting it RIGHT!!!A.M.

Residence: transition between kitchen and dining room areas in open space of a condo. Abstract painted element defines the areas with contrasting color
www.IntegralColor.com
Thank you so much for the work you did consulting on colors for my
dining
room and kitchen. When I told my friends that I hired a "colorist" to
pick
out paint colors, most of them looked incredulous--"why don't you
just pick
out your own colors?“
However, after struggling with little chips of paint, I knew that I was
not capable
of finding the right color from a myriad of choices. You were careful,
took time to
explore color options, and had a great eye for what tones and colors
work in a
given space.
The results are fabulous. Color really makes a difference. The colors
in the room
harmonize well with all of the other elements in the room. The colors
are the first
thing that people comment on when they see our new rooms.
Thank you. I am convinced that I would never have achieved the
results that you
did.J. F.

Kitchen – Family room – Sunroom
Color Design
The goal was to develop a low contrast color palettefor smooth transitions between the adjacent spaces.Conditions: extreme variations in lighting and space fromone room to the next.
The solution: variations in saturation of 2 different paint colors.
Areas for this group are:Kitchen wallsBack hall off the kitchenStairs from the kitchen up to and into 2nd floor hallLarge family room off the kitchenSunroom off the family room

Barbara Jacobs helped us from the very beginning by truly understanding not
just our design philosophy
and business mission, but by actively participating in our brainstorming
sessions with architect, designer,
contractor, and business owners.
Her deep understanding of the psychological effect of color on the mood and
emotions, current trends,
and her breadth of experience and depth of knowledge of color from other
cultures helped us achieve
an environment that truly astounds our customers.
And they come back again, and again, and again to experience our
environment and product.
We could not have done it without her." Paul Fullarton

My goal was to take two very sparsely detailed and vanilla colored spaces and with a new coat of paint create an office suite that was more fitting for my architectural practice.
Your help and guidance in selecting the right palette of colors was invaluable.Your insight into where we should apply the various paint colors to create interestand detail was right on.
Clients and other visitors to the office are always impressed to see the space, are quick to comment on their appreciation of the paint scheme, and are alwaysamazed by how much something as “simple” as paint color can transform a space.
Thanks again for your significant contribution towards the office makeover.

Working with Barbara on our project (Authoria, Inc.) was a collaborative process
which delivered
outstanding results. As part of our team, she gave the project the “visual energy”
we were seeking
for this young and growing company.
Barbara produced a palette of colors, which still look fresh, and combined them to
create a series
of decorative finishes which were used throughout their corporate headquarters as
well as in an
off-site training facility.
The end results were unique spaces which helped create and convey our client’s
corporate identity

What is the purpose of design?
“…color contains within itself a little-studied but enormous power, which can influence the entire human body as a physical organism.”
