SOLUTION OVERVIEW

Orchestration & BPM EngineDalet Orchestration automates configurable processes combining system services and customized user tasks, leveraging rich assets to enable complex tasks such as EDL, Playlist and Package creation.

A drag-and-drop web-based interface enables users to easily configure various simple and complex workflows, where administrators can define naming conventions for assets, inputs and outputs, as well as which assets to effect at various stages in the workflow.

User Tasks & ToolsOrchestrate both automated jobs and user tasks to enable truly smart decisions in your workflows. User tasks can be customized to fit a specific action. To manage a large number of different tasks, templates can be created with appropriate information such as Name, Description or Instructions. Once the template is created it can be used in the designer.

Board views: when a workflow gets to a user task, it creates a task in the User Group’s task list, in which a user can claim the task and start it. This automatically opens up the right application. It avoids confusion for users on what task to work on when and gives full visibility on the productivity of a user or group of users.

List views: on top of users seeing their own tasks in the task list, another method of viewing user tasks is for managers or any user with appropriate rights who wants a global perspective of all user tasks for workflows. This view gives the ability to access all user tasks with associated metadata in a single page with filters and without scrolling, in order to manage the list of tasks and the priorities.

Dashboard & Business IntelligenceDelivered with a full Report Center, the solution brings Business Intelligence (BI) to the organization, allowing users at various levels to monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) about their operations in order to make more informed decisions with actionable data and build data-driven strategies.

Predefined Business Intelligence reports can be customized and give management a clear picture of how the organization is performing such as the productivity of users and user groups or the volume of processed content in a month or over the previous weeks. Bottlenecks can be easily identified and workflows optimized, delivering the full promise of BPM: analyze, design, execute, monitor and improve.

In addition, the open API allows for any integration to be developed in house or by a contractor.
