Nu is a project of supermarket without packaging with a deposit system. No less than 400 sq. meters in the center of Paris where you can meet directly with producers on their stall and find first necessities products.

The team is working an innovative system of paiement and weighing. Scales under the different products would enable to register in real time on a badge the quantity taken

Objectifs : Make the deposit sytem practical and ergonomic Transform the constrain of the deposit into something

fun Imagine the bag that is going to contain the containers Constrains : Urban environment (easy to transport and store) No unique use (washable, reusable, etc.) Ecological materials & long life cycle

Caractéristics : => Code of colors to differenciate the products => Télescopic => Interlocking => No need for covers, can close when put into each other

The +: => Handles to transport as backpack =>Easy to store => Beautiful– Can build structures with it, fun for kids

The flexible tube => Can have different volumes => Flexible and pliable => Can put caps on the extrimities for

liquids/grains for instance The + => Can add tongs to tie tubes

The multi-handles bag

=> Similar to a Ikea bag Three kind of handles => Small ones to carry like a handbag => Big ones to carry on a shoulder => Two handles to carry like a backpack The + => Made in organic fibers (ex: hemp) or re-used materials)

The Tornado Box => Retractable, can close completely => A combination of bases that can stretch The + : => Each base has a measure => Adapted to liquids

Ride your bag

The Push Bag A wheel with different compartments to seperate ingredients Can add two pedals and ride it to go back home The + => Fun and healthy => Can add a dynamo

The caddy trottinette

Pliable trottinette which is also a caddy with different hooks for bags like the multi-handles bag

Two possibilites for a renting system: => With a down paiement like Vélib => Through a collaborative app where you

can geolocate available trottinettes

Shopping, a social and fun experience

Observation: There is actually no constrains We usually have a bag on us It is a convenience./local store Can give back the deposit whenever we want

Positioning => NU is a place to meet people, more like a café than a classic supermarket

A bottle in the sea Can leave a message inside the containers (ex: chinese crackers) => Anonymous message =>or a message from a brand to offer promotional gifts When buying the containers can choose to keep them or leave them in the shop as a deposit with a message inside The + => Create like between customers, exchange message =>can have a QR code sytem

The deposit game: Put forward / Celebrate those who give back the containers Credit / Bonus system Can develop a network with other stores and use the points you win in this network. Ex: get a haircut

The artcraft: Can build sculptures, and artcrafts with the containers (lego, tetris)
