Dear Sir/Madam:
Greetings!
The Circle K Club of UPLB has been organized to encourage college students to be involved in
community service while developing them into future leaders and professionals of the country. It
was founded on November 16, 1996 and has been a seat of volunteerism, friendship and service, focusing mainly on serving the children of the world.
Circle K International, a sponsored program of Kiwanis International, is the leading collegiate
service-oriented club worldwide. In the University of the Philippines Los Baos, it is a duly
recognized civic organization and has conducted different civic activities in the university and
nearby communities for more than a decade. Circle Ks advocacy has always been helping children
realize the importance of their studies, the promise brought by it, and the rewards of good self-
esteem.
This semester, the Club aims to fund three of its major activities: (1) the annual McDonalds party
for street children in the vicinity of UP Los Baos, in celebration of the Christmas season; (2) a
week-long photo exhibit showcasing the children and the members of the club in celebration of the
clubs 15th anniversary; and (3) a trip to an orphanage with the student leaders of Puypuy ElementarySchool. The club wishes this year to teach the children that money is not everything in this life.
In line with this, we would like to invite you to become part of this noble endeavor by helping us
with the financial requirements of the said projects. Your financial assistance would help a lot in
making the projects successful. This would take us a step a further in attaining our goal of making a
difference in many childrens lives, especially to the less fortunate ones.
We believe that being role models and serving the children through compassion and volunteerism
takes us closer to the realization of making this world a harmonious place to live in. we are confident
that you, along with our organization, are one with this belief.
For inquiries or any concern at all, you may reach us through the following numbers:

We hope for your positive response and thank you very much for your time.
Live to Serve, Love to Serve
Keeping the compassionate fire burning,
Christine A. Palattao
