WHAT IS THE APPSTACK?

» The resources required to ensure that an application and

infrastructure stack (AppStack) runs efficiently. Example: SQL AppStack – Data resides on a SAN or NAS which is

used by a virtual platform which in turn hosts a Windows VM that has

the SQL application installed on it

Each step is a piece of the AppStack for that SQL instance and can be

monitored by a SolarWinds product
