• Roof Static and Structural DimensioningWith our Wagner Solar packages, we deliver a specific number ofroof brackets for each solar installation. However, depending onthe region (altitude, snow-load zone and/or wind-load zone) aswell as building specifics (e.g., installation close to roof edge), therequired number of roof brackets could be higher. You arewelcome to contact our technical support for calculation support.Please provide a detailed list of dimensions so that our staff canbetter assist you.

• Pre-vesselFor solar installation packages with heating support and a verticalcollector arrangement, a heat dissipation pre-vessel must beinstalled to protect the expansion vessel. This pre-vessel isincluded in the solar space heating packages. For an on-roofmounting DHW system with vertical collector installation or anyoversized collector field, a pre-vessel must be ordered separately.

• Solar AccessoriesSolar cables and electronic small parts are not included indelivery. For limiting the domestic hot water temperature, westrongly recommend the installation of a thermostatic mixingvalve (p.25).

• Arresting Valve (Capped valve)For easier maintenance and commissioning of our solarinstallations, we recommend the installation of a capped valve(p.26).

InfoUse the free standing kit TRIC F to increase the angle of the collectors on a pitched roof. Assure that the collectors are mounted safely tothe roof structure by using the appropriate amount of roof brackets. Comply to local building codes and regulations. Order additionalroof brackets if necessary! If you use concrete blocks on flat roofs, a minimum of 5 roof brackets per A-frame is required.

Technical InformationPipe size for this package must be 12 mm copper pipe, maximum single pipe run 50 ft (or 100 ft for the whole loop respectively).Maximum system height must not exceed 28 ft. Different system parameters will have negative influence on system operation.

Thank you for choosing products from Wagner Solar. Because shipping our goods can sometimesbe challenging as they are fragile, large or heavy, please carefully read the following instructionsbefore you receive our shipments (this also applies if you are picking up your goods at thewarehouse).

Provide detailed shipping information beforehandTo help facilitate your delivery, it is helpful to know: where you want the goods delivered or whenyou want to pick them up, if you need a lift-gate, who the contact person is along with a telephonenumber, and any other information that could be helpful for the delivery person. Sometimesdelivery sites will have cumbersome driveways that don’t always accommodate all trucks – this infois also helpful when placing your order with us.

2. Time of arrival can be variableSince the freight company delivers multiple orders each day, they are only able to decide on aspecific date and are not always able to narrow down the time window. We are sorry for anyinconvenience this may cause, but we cannot guarantee times of day that a shipment will arrive.We will do our best to aim for the time you requested.

3. Check the number of packages and transport damage BEFORE you signPlease compare the number of packages with the number given on the consignment note andinspect the delivered goods very carefully before you sign. If picking up your goods, thewarehouse will require you to sign off on the packing list. By signing, you are agreeing that thegoods show no visible signs of damage and everything has been accounted for.

Any missing package and any visual damage (including broken pallets, missing or damaged shrinkwrap, dented cardboard, etc.) must be noted on the consignment note. 2. Once you have been issued an RA#, we will email you a return delivery slip which you must fill outcompletely and include along with a copy of your packing list or invoice with the return shipment.

3. Any return of goods that was requested by Wagner Solar for the examination of warranty claims is freeof shipping charges.

4. In order to process a return of damaged goods, Wagner Solar must first receive: photographs of thedamaged items, a list of all relevant article numbers, and a copy of either the Bill of Lading or DeliveryReceipt.

5. For all return deliveries aside from warranty claims, Wagner Solar will bill you with the actual freightcosts.

6. Please make sure that the return delivery is properly and safely packed.

7. For return deliveries of unused, undamaged and originally packed articles from our current product line,we will credit you with the billed amount minus a 25% restocking fee.

8. If the goods are not in a condition proper for resale, we reserve the right to dispose of or return theproducts to you.

9. The following products and parts are excluded from returns:• Items not purchased from Wagner Solar Inc.• Electronic components• Items which due to their construction and/or nature can only be stored for a limited period of time

(e.g. seals, rubber parts, hoses, etc.)• Leftover parts, individual set components• Parts manufactured or obtained upon customer request• Products that are no longer part of our current product line

10. The final decision as to which products of a return delivery can be taken back can only be arrived at aftercareful examination of all returned parts.

1. General Information

These terms and conditions of business are an integrated part of every product and serviceoffered by Wagner Solar Inc. and every business transaction performed and/or purchasingcontract signed with it. They apply as of May 1st, 2010. General terms and conditions ofbusiness, regardless of the type, that conflict with these terms and conditions of business shallbe considered invalid and of no legal force. Updated general terms and conditions shall bedownloaded under www.us.wagner-solar.com/termsandconditions.

2. Products and Service

All products description, product information, the range of products by Wagner are notbinding. We reserve the right to make technical updates to products due to technicalimprovements and outdated products. All provided technical documentation; drawings,datasheets, publications of the term “technical”, manuals and operating instructions remain theintellectual property of Wagner.

3. Pricing

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, prices are net prices ex works, including packaging but notincluding applicable crating charges and excluding any applicable discounts based on volumeand quantities. The prices of the commercial price list are suggested retail prices, approximatedat the time of purchasing or signing a purchase agreement. If material prices change; eitherincrease or decrease at the time of purchase or submittal of purchase agreement, prices shallbe adjusted accordingly. This terminology shall be binding for every transaction within a three(3) month period between signing of an agreement and execution.

4. Delivery and Payment

All actual shipping charges shall be added to purchase order and paid by Buyer. Delivery datesare never binding unless explicitly agreed in a purchasing contract. If a change to a confirmeddelivery date takes place, Wagner Solar Inc. is entitled to establish an adjusted delivery date,and Wagner Solar is not to be held liable for any consequences, harm and damage caused byadjusted delivery dates. If the delay is caused by the contractor or project managing company,the latter must cover all additional costs caused by the delay or Returns and Exchanges. Unlessotherwise agreed, goods shall be delivered only cash on delivery, unless a company accounthas been arranged with Wagner Solar. Discounted rates or payments shall be agreed inadvance and in writing otherwise they shall be borne by the customer. Setoff or decliningpayments by the client is prohibited unless expressively agreed. Payments must be made in fullto Wagner Solar Inc. or a person with authority to collect. If a credit period is exceeded andpayments are received late, Wagner Solar is entitled to assess late charges in the amount of 5 %per month. Customer must pay any collection fee, intervention fees and any applicable legalcharges. Warranty claims asserted by the client do not entitle the client to withhold payments.

5. Limited Warranty

Wagner Solar Inc. warrants that all its products sold in accordance with these warrantyprovisions shall be free from defects in material and workmanship, or other malfunctions orfailure to perform, under normal use and service. This warranty is valid for the time listed belowfrom the date of installation, not exceeding 6 months from date of manufacture, by productclassification as follows:

Standard Components 2 years Solar Storage Tank and Solar Flex piping 6 years Solar Collector and Solar Thermal System 11 years

Limited eleven (11) year warranty for the Wagner & Co flat panel solar collectors, the entiresolar system* if all original Wagner products and components are used during installation andthe installation is consider the “original solar system” installed and operated by the “originalowner” and at the “original site”. The solar system must be installed by a certified installer underthe Wagner Academy solar training program and during operations maintained according tothe maintenance and service instruction provided by Wagner. The obligation of Wagner underthe warranty and repair conditions of Wagner shall further be limited exclusively to the repair,replacement, or refund of purchase price, at the sole discretion of Wagner. Wagner shall not beresponsible for any special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages caused by the goodsand products as described in the in warranty policy at www.us.wagner-solar.com/warranty.

The warranty herein provided are not assignable nor negotiable.

6. Jurisdiction and Arbitration

All disputes and claims or demands arising from or relating to the Warranties, or from the termsand conditions herein contained and all claims, demands, rights or liabilities arising from suchWarranties or terms and conditions shall be determined in accordance with the law of the city ofCambridge, Massachusetts. In the event of any dispute of Wagner and the Original Ownerarising out of the interpretation of performance of the warranty policy provided by Wagner,such dispute shall be submitted to a board of three (3) arbitrators, one of whom shall bedetermined by Wagner, one by the Original Owner and the third by the first two nominees ifthere can agree otherwise by a Judge of the Supreme Court of the City of Boston.

Disclaimer of Warranties: Wagner Solar Inc. disclaims any warranty not provided hereinincluding the implied warranty of merchantability and implied warranty of fitness for a particularpurpose. It is expressly understood that Wagner is not responsible for any consequential orother damages that may arise from using Wagner Solar components. Damage resulting fromwater freezing in the collector tubing does not constitute a defect in material or workmanship,and shall not be covered by this warranty.
