• On 10.10.2013, the KARNATAKA ELECTRICTYREGULATORY COMMISSION (KERC) determined thetariff of Solar Rooftop PV systems as Rs. 9.56without subsidy & Rs.7.20 with subsidy.

• On 22.05.2014, the Government of Karnataka (GoK)announced the Solar policy 2014-2018 and set atarget of 400MW.

• On 07.11.2014, the Solar Rooftop policy launched inBESCOM and extended to all ESCOM’S.
