Solar roadways is a tactical approach to solve energy crisis.

Solar roadways are roads that consist of solar panels under them.

This approach is to bring solution to overgrowing price of asphalt and to put an end to power shortage.BASIC PARTS OF SOLAR ROADWAYS

Here two PN junction diodes are kept one over another. Now this diode is irradiated by sunlight and all electron and hole deficiencies are compensated. Now this results in the formation of an electric field.How does solar roadways work?????

Sunlight penetrates through the glass and falls on the solar panel.

The solar roadways on the basis of photovoltaic absorbs sunlight and converts it into electrical energy.

This electrical energy can be sent to a transformer for stepping up as required.
