Using Your Headphones

1. Our headphones are designed for comfort and incredible

sound. Ensure you get the most from your headphones

bycreatingthe perfect fit. Adjust the Sound Engines along

the Sound Track band until they fit comfortably on the ears.

2. Place Sound Engine on top of corresponding ear

("R" over right ear, "L'' over left ear).

3· Wear your headphones with the cord hanging in FRONT of your head to ensure they stay put during strenuous activity.

4• Insert cable connectors securely into corresponding Sound Engines ("R"for right "L''for left).

Tips for using your remote control on compatible Apple® products

During music playback

• Click play button once to pause and again to resume playback

• Click play button twice quickly to track forward

• Click play button three times quickly to track backward

• Increase volume by pressing"+" button.

• Decrease volume by pressing"-" button.

During phone calls

• Click play button once to answerincomingcall,clickonceto end call

• Press and hold downplay button for about two seconds to decline an incoming call

• Click play button once to switch over to call waiting cl ick again to switch back to original call

Protecting Your Headphones

We worked hard to construct heavy-duty headphones. Follow the guidelines below to protect them.

• SOL Republic headphones are not intended for use while swimming bathing or showering. You should still take a shower though.

• If you purchased the Tracks HD, use the SOL REPUBLIC carrying case

• Keep your headphones clean and free of debris

• Do not tug on cable to disconnect plug from device

• Do not wrap headphones around device while it is still plugged in as it puts unnecessary pressure on plug-cord connection

Troubleshooting

TROUBLE SUGGESTIONS

There's no audio Make sure your device's headphone jack is free of debris and that the headphone plug is securely connected.

The treble and bass level is too high or too low Check the audio enhancement features on your device.

Sound is coming out of only one Sound Engine Make sure the cable is firmly connected to the headphone by ensuring male 3.smm cable is inserted into female 3.smm jack all the way.

Distorted sound Play a couple different songs first to make sure the problem is not with your device. Then, check the EQ settings on your device.

Cleaning Your Headphones

We love our headphones and look at each one as a work of art. Be sure to take care of them.

To keep your headphones clean, periodicallywipewith a dry cloth. You can also remove the ear tip and gently wipe the sound engine.

Note on Static Electricity

In particularly dryairconditions, mild tingling may be felt on you rears. This is a result of static electricity accumulated in the body, and not a malfunction of the headphones. You can stop draggingyourfeet across carpets or try wearing clothes made from natural materials to minimize the effect.

Hearing Safety

The Occupational Safety Health Administration has developed the following noise exposure chart to help determine what levels and lengths of listening are safe.

comfortable volume levels for reasonable periods of time.

• Listen to your music at a safe volume level. A good point of reference is half volume.

• Be aware ofyoursurroundings. Some states have laws prohibiting the use of

headphones during activities such as driving bicycling or jogging wh ile on public roads.

Caution around children. Keep out of reach of children, the parts included with this product can be a choking hazard This product is not intended for children under 7 years of age.

SOL REPUBLIC Limited Warranty

SOL REPUBLIC warrants the owner of the product against defects in materials or workmanship as declared below:

• SOL REPUBLIC will repair or replace, attheirdiscretion, the product at no charge fora period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. Determining whether a product is repaired or replaced is at the discretion of SOL REPUBLIC.

• Products must be purchased from a SOL REPUBLIC authorized dealer.

• This Limited Warranty does not cover cosmetic damage, acts of God, misuse, accidents, commercial use, and modification to the product, improper connection, improper use o r attempted repair by unauthorized distributors renders this warranty null and void.

• This warranty does not cover products purchased open box, sold as-is, by private party resale oranyotherthird party purchases from unauthorized distributors. Transfer of SOL REPUBLIC products through unauthorized distributors renders this warranty null and void.

• This warranty is also null and void if the product is damaged by a connecting product that may have caused damage through misuse or malfunction or if the factory model name or serial number has been altered.

• A proof of purchase may be in the form of a receipt or bill of sale, w ith the model of the product and the date of purchase stated.

Restrictions

SOL REPUBLIC is not responsible to repair or replace the product if in violation of this

warranty. This warranty gives the purchaser specific legal rights, you may also have other

rights which vary from state to state that may result in the change of this warranty.

To obtain service under this warranty agreement, properly protect the product in a shipping

package, as we are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit, and include a copy

of the original receipt.
