Statue of Theodor Geppert, S.J., the founder of Sogang University As one of the most prominent business schools in Korea, Sogang Business School (SBS) of Sogang University (SU) provides excellent management education, with its top- tier faculty staff widely recognized for their research and teaching. The school enrolls about 1,200 undergraduate and graduate students annually. Of them, international students account for about a fifth. SBS is the only Jesuit school in the country, committed firmly to shaping students as life-long leaders of the global community with its solid inspiration for academic rigor and excellence. Sogang University (SU), founded by the Society of Jesus in 1960, is the only Jesuit institution in Korea. For its growth over half a century, the University has solidified its position as one of the top universities in Korea.

As of Academic Year 2017, there are 24 majors and 11 interdisciplinary programs offered in the undergraduate programs with about 11,000 students, and 12 graduate schools including professional and special graduate schools with students of about 4,200 in the master and doctoral programs. The SU faculty members total about 450 tenured and tenure-track professors. Around 1,000 international students study annually at SU in various academic programs.

Sogang University has been top-ranked among other universities in the country for its highest employment ratio. SU also has over 50,000 alumni working in influential positions in various sectors in the country and all over the world.
