1.1 Order management

• 1. In the new version the new “Order Management” function automatically calculates the number of slab required to perform the job.

• All parts to be cut are automatically positioned to optimize material and reduce left-overs.

• The automatic optimizer (Nesting) can be discretionally overridden by the operator to change the cutting scheme.

• Parts geometry can be defined from scratch as well as imported from an already existing project.

1.2 Cut parameters

• New cutting strategies.Flat edge on round cuts.The software automatically calculates the blade tilt to ensure a flat edge on the circle perimeter (available only on 5 Axes machines).

1.2 Cut parameters

Sink cut-out strategies• New option to automatically perform multiple cuts within the cut-out area of a

kitchen top. This allows to automatically split the piece inside the hole of the kitchen top.

Solid blocks cutting strategies• New cut path available on solid blocks for more efficient blade trajectory.Shape cutting strategies• New function to cut a circle or ellipse composed by more arches, made in one

single circular movement of the disc.

1.3 Camera management

• New Camera Management system with automatically detection of the slab’s edge.

• Thank to this function parts to be cut can be located on the actual slab associating each part to the material characteristics (dynamic Nesting).

1.4 XMotion Manual/Automatic

• The vacuum lifter (XMotion) makes it possible to perform a full cutting scheme by splitting the slab parts avoiding any damage during cross-cutting

• XMotion System is user friendly, manageable in both Automatic and Manual versions enabling you to pick up any piece placed on the worktable just by moving the mouse.

1.5 Sink cut-out strategies(only for 5 Axes machines)

• Thanks to this feature the machine can automatically run a drill & cut combined cycle to split the inner part of a kitchen top.

1.6 3D Rendering

• Allows you to show the complete job final result with a 3D image. It is possible to save a .jpg picture file and show it to your customer.

• Dynamic rendering is possibile by relocating the parts on the slab with the “Drag & Drop” function.

1.7 Multidirectional cut and Internal Arches(only for 5 Axes machine)

• For the curved cuts the software will automatically calculate the tilting of the disc (A Axis) to obtain a perfectly flat edge.

• Ability to automatically perform 45° cuts.

1.8 Xmotion Integrated Cycle Management (only machines with X - Motion)

• This function allows full management of Xmotion system (automatic or manually).

• Xmotion allows step cuts (sequence of cuts on split/relocated parts)

• On 5 Axes machines equipped with 2 working stations XMotion allows to perform a fully automated cut & finish cycle (slab cross cuts splitting and parts positioning on the vacuum cups of the finishing work area.

1.9 Time & Costs

• In the new page “Time &Costs” it is possible to exactly calculate working time and cost of the whole working process.

• An accurate costs monitor beak-down is possible by inserting:

• Labour cost• Tools lifetime and linear cost • Material cost• Machine run and idle time• Therefore each job can be analyzed with a

full-costing approach.

• It is now therefore possible to: - Program the machine for the full execution of a job involvingmultiple slabs- Calculate the full cost of the job in all its items- Optimize and locate the parts to be cut on the actual slabimage combining parts shape with the slab’s characteristics.- Show a true 3D rendering of the job (e.g. Kitchen tops, floorpattern) prior to cutting- Choose the fittest cutting strategy among the smart pathsoptions- With XMotion to run a full cutting cycle including cross cutsparts splitting- On 5 Axes machines with 2 working areas to use XMotion forthe cut & finish automatic cycle.

2. Writing, carving and engraving

• The new 29.0 version of Taglio software also provides a new interface for the management of writing, carving and engraving with a full array of useful options to make your job an even nicer one.

• A Microsoft word®- like environment offers a super intuitive and flexible writing system.

• Any text can therefore be formatted in countless combinations of size, font, style and alignment once it’s been typed.

• Any text can be shifted from 2D to 3D and vice versa.

2.1 Writing

• This button allows you to post-process any text without the need to erase the original one and a new one.

2.2 Text modifications

• Any text can be dynamically modified by choosing a different font.

2.3 Font selection

• By using this function a text can be either carved into the slab as well as shifted into a high relief sculpture.

• The software automatically calculates the amount of removal around each letter.

2.4 Emptying

• This feature makes it possible to locate and carve a text on:

1. A flat horizontal surface2. A curved surface3. A flat vertical surface

• Possibility to combine texts, surfaces, imported and native files easily blending them into a unique workpiece whose characteristics can be dynamically modified by the operator.

• Optimized tool paths and advanced machining strategies make it possible to seamlessly design and produce even the most complex workpieces.

3 Taglio 3DJ SoftwarePoints of strenght

• Where hefty amount of material needs to be removed the software runs the job suggesting use of a sequence of tools, from the rawest to the thinnest. Each step is managed by the software that keeps into account the material to be removed by each type of tool.

3.1 Heavy removal made fast

• The "Projection” function allows to easily project any surface on an underlying one by a simple command thus creating any kind of product your mind can figure out.

• This command allows immediate and intuitive programming of the parametric textures.

3.3 Weavy patterns and textures

• New command to create .stl file (surface) from 3D project.

3.4 File export gateway

• The new graphic interface allows direct access to the tools database for any change and to insert new ones.

3.5 Tools management interface

• The new version provides an effective guide to support the graphical programming and the understanding of the working parameters.

3.6 Graphic interface

• The new function features the automatic calculation of the operating group path in order to avoid any collision with any other piece on the worktable.

• This optimization can be used on all machines but finds its highest expression on 5 Axes machines when it comes to run multi-pieces cycles as well as performing complex 3D jobs.

3.7 Anti-collision system

• The new Outline function, allows the automatic calculation of the contour line of the piece from any kind of surface and from 3D viewer.

• It is a very effective feature for easy carving or finishing of areas difficult to reach with the common strategies.

3.8 Outline

• This new function allows to create countless copies of a surface and paste them fixing angle and direction (X,Y,Z).

• This feature can also be used for the duplication of a portion of the surface.

• This function automatically re-calculates the fittest tool path when the original project has been changed.

• The re-calculation process has been dramatically optimized and made faster.

3.10 Toolpath Recalculation

• This feature allows to smoothen and correct all surfaces imported by using photos (JPG) or via STL files that appear to be quite raw.

• The function allows to improve the final result, modifying editing, subtracting, or by adding material from the surface.

3.11 Image post-processing

• Possibility to calculate roughing and finishing around the piece.

• Stock removal around Z: Very useful to remove material in continuous on all four sides of the piece. Combined with the “Toolpath recalculation" it offers the possibility to use multiple tools in a sequence.

• Finishing around Z: This processing allows to work with both disc and router bit on all four sides continuously, providing better finishing of the pieces.

3.12 - 4\5 Axes Processings (4\5 Axes machines)

• This feature generates tool paths that allow you to take full advantage of the 5 Axes moving all at the same time, to ensure the widest possible scope of jobs and a high degree of finish even on extremely complex surfaces.

workpiece designing and fabrication are optimized, the waste material is minimized, and the ease of use of the machine is dramatically improved.

• The software update may be retro-fitted on existing versions and may be used on any Denver CNC machine.
