Software Download Instructions for MSDN AA

Go to the following link in your preferred browser:

Click on the Log In button on the left. Your USER NAME will be your student ID

number, and your password will be your first name. Change your password after your

first log in by clicking on MY PROFILE and selecting the change password link.

Once you have logged in, you can either search for the software you want, or pick it out

of the drop down box under it, such as in the picture below with Access 03 selected.

After selection the next screen you will need to add it by clicking ADD TO CART.

On the Next Screen you must read and click I AGREE to accept the EULA.

The next step requires you to fill in your First and Last names again, and verify your

email address is correct.

Click the download link to begin downloading the software. Please not that your

software’s product key is show on this page, write it down and keep a record of it, as you

will need it for the install.

When you click Download, a window will pop up asking you to Run, Save, or Exit.

Click RUN, this will start a temporary download that will launch the Microsoft

Downloader. The directory shown is where your software will unpack, the default is

C:\Temp.

After the downloader has finished, your software is ready to install. If you have chosen

to download an application such as Microsoft Access, then there will be a setup file for

you to run. However, if you have chosen to download an operating system such as

Microsoft Vista 64, then it will create an ISO for a CD or a DVD that you will need to

burn with the appropriate software.
