Background

softGIS api provides:

• JSON REST with combined clientjavascript functions written in dojo

• geoJSON Features, profile values,

• Possibility to query geojson features according to their properties

• Profiles can be queried according to theirproperties

• No predefined value names or categories suitable for environments with changingneeds

softGIS API tech:

• A set of geoDjango/Django applications

Minimal whishlist for the future:

• OpenID support

• Production server api.softgis.fi (existing

test server),

• Support algorithms for geographical

files..
