This week: Language Arts/ Phonics: /Dd/, /Ss/, /Ii/
Big Idea: Students will be learning what distinguishes this particular sound and be asked to identify where they can find this sound within words (ex.: beginning or end of words)
Math: Mod. 1 Lsn. 9-11 Big Idea: Students will be learning how to count to 120. They will
also be asked to start any number within 120 and on (107, ___, ___, …) In addition students will be learning to read and write numerals and represent a number of objects with a written numeral and to be able to identify numbers missing within a number chart.
Social Studies: Big Idea: Your child will learn how to describe the rights and
responsibility of citizenship. Understand the rule-making process in a direct democracy.
