Society refers to a collection of people living in a country over a period of time

Society can also be used to describe the lifestyle of the wealthy. This can be described in terms of those persons who belong to the “high society”

Society is a guide to behavior. For example, John could not be married to at the age of 13 since according to society this is not considered proper.

A sociologist is someone who is involved in the systematic study of society. Society refers to the overall unit, however, within this large group there are sub-divisions such as socio-economic group, religious affiliation, racial group, ethnic group and geographical area.

A shared common purpose include members of the Caribbean having the same aims or objectives. One such example include, all members of the Caribbean countries having the common purpose of achieving a well rounded education

The Caribbean region include all of the countries that is washed by the Caribbean sea. This can be described as the Caribbean’s defined Territorial space.

In the Caribbean continuity exist within areas of education, culture, politics etc. This is so since in all Caribbean territories these principles make up the society
