Getting My Teachers’ AttentionGetting My Teachers’ Attention

When I am at school, I sometimes find it hard to get my teachers’

attention. There are so many other students in my class who also need

assistance. My teachers can’t always hear me or help me right away. I

tend to get impatient and start to scream to get my teachers tofocus on my needs. It is not ok to yell during class.

When my teachers are busy, I can raise my hand and make sure to

make eye contact with them. If my teachers see my hand raised they

will eventually come and help me.

Instead of screaming during class, I can quietly walk to my teacher’s

desk and ask for help.

I need to always make sure that my teachers are not busy withother students. If they are, I will quietly wait in line for my turn.

Finally, instead of screaming at my teachers to get their attention, I

can take out my scribbler book and draw in it. I love to draw. It calms

me down. I like to show my teachers my drawings.
