Reed HouseThe Salvation Army Reed House is a permanent supportive housing program for women and men with any combination of physical, mental health and drug/alcohol disabilities.

Shelter Care PlusThe Salvation Army Shelter Plus Care is a permanent supportive housing program serv-ing formerly homeless families. All families served have a head of household living with a chronic physical, behavioral, or mental health challenge. These families require the stability of permanent supportive housing to achieve and maintain self-sufficiency. We offer these families ongoing case management and rental assistance which allows them to remain stably housed with their families intact.

City of Philadelphia Office of Homeless ServicesOffice of Homeless Services provides information on where to go for help, including a list of service providers and how homeless individuals can get help with short-term housing and crisis support.

The Salvation Army’s Pathway of HopeA long-term case management initiative that allows motivated families to take the necessary steps to improve their lives, receive social and spiritual support, and be connected with ser-vices for jobs, health, housing, childcare, educational and legal services.

The Salvation Army’s New Day Drop-in CenterThe New Day Drop-In Center is a safe, trauma informed, welcoming and non-judgmental space for women suffering from sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia. The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center For over 100 years The Salvation Army’s Adult Rehabilitation Centers programs have pro-vided spiritual, social, and emotional assistance for men and women who have lost the ability to cope with their problems and provide for themselves. Centers offers residential housing, work, and group and individual therapy, all in a clean, wholesome environment. The physical and spiritual care that program participants receive prepares them to re-enter society and return to gainful employment. Many of those who have been rehabilitated are reunited with their families and resume a normal life.
