Photo Sharing Example – Flickr
Flickr is a large photo sharing website.
Flickr allows you to tag photos, set titles and descriptions. Flickr images usually appear in Google Image Search and are often used by bloggers as a place to find images.
You can also find other peoples images on Flickr.
Micro-blogging Example – Twitter
Twitter is a micro-blogging platform which allows users to communicate with each other.
Twitter is great for:• Monitoring your online presence• Responding to queries and building relationships• Promoting an event• Targeting people with certain interests

Facebook is a social networking website which allows users to become friends with each other, communicate and share media.
Facebook is good for :• Building an online presence• Great distribution method• Engage with your customers• Build a network
Social Bookmarking Example – StumbleUponStumbleUpon allows users to share web pages with each other. Users can review and vote up or down different websites and comment on other peoples reviews. StumbleUpon can create a conversation about your site without you knowing and can also drive high levels of traffic to a web page/website.
