Facebook Facebook is usually the most

personal of all three but being professional by taking down some of those not so professional photos will go a long way.

Actively comment and re-post activity happening on the your pages and things your doing.

Post all other pages to your Facebook profile links ie Linkedin, Twitter, Foursquare etc. this ensures good visibility and ties them together.

Someone you know may find your post relevant to projects happening in their own companies and are likely to recommend you.

Be real and sincere because most people can spot a fake so stay cool and collect in your own personal life.

Foursquare• Foursquare is primarily for

letting your friends know where you are and figuring out where they are. Secondarily, it's for collecting points, prize "badges," and eventually, coupons for going about your everyday business.

• And it's becoming popular. Foursquare now has almost 275,000 users in less than a year.

Connections If you don’t have a paid account, store information on how you

know certain people on a spreadsheet. Use Connections - referrals can be incredibly powerful when your

trying to make an introduction to a new company/opportunity. Keep Them Private – Having your connections private shows that

your respect their privacy and new connections are more likely to connect knowing their information is also kept confidential.

Connect with EVERYONE you can like people you meet, execs from companies you worked with in the past, your high school friends, EVERYONE because you never know who knows who.

Connect with “TOP Linkedin” users they have the most connections so you get the benefit of getting a 2nd or 3rd connection with someone really important you may need.

Twitter Connect When you post updates to Twitter they will show up in

your status on Linkedin. Depending how you use Twitter you may want to link it

to Linkedin if you do follow these guidelines. Be professional knowing that other professionals are

looking at your updates. This provides some visibility of what your working on
