Social Media Policy October 28 2015 POLICY The following policy enlists guidelines for employee use of social media and other services at The Daniels Group. This policy embraces regulation on blogs, social networking sites, online forums, message boards, wikis, and other services where sharing personal information and electronic communication is permitted. If employees do not follow these specific guidelines in regards to social media, the employee will be thoroughly assessed and prospectively terminated. The Daniels Group Social Media Policy is crucial to our company. As a human resource organization, it is vital to have firm social media guidelines and procedures in hopes to keep market share and ultimate reputation within the market. With past occurrences with employees posting pictures of themselves at our office with very important documents in the background that released client data, it is obvious that we must implement stricter guidelines in order to protect our organization and clients. GUIDELINES & PROCEDURES The following guidelines and procedures apply to social media on behalf of The Daniels Group, as well as personal use of social media. Employees are ultimately responsible for what is posted online. Continually maintain confidential information regarding The Daniels Group. Employees are not to post or release The Daniels Group confidential client information to the public. Disreputable content such as sexual, religious, ethnic, racial, and physical disability smears are not tolerated.

If employees do not follow these specific guidelines in regards to social media, the employee will be thoroughly assessed and prospectively terminated. The Daniels Group Social Media Policy is crucial to our company. As a human resource organization, it is vital to have firm social media guidelines and procedures in hopes to keep market share and ultimate reputation within the market. With past occurrences with employees posting pictures of themselves at our office with very important documents in the background that released client data, it is obvious that we must implement stricter guidelines in order to protect our organization and clients.

GUIDELINES & PROCEDURESThe following guidelines and procedures apply to social media on behalf of The Daniels Group, as well as personal use of social media. Employees are ultimately responsible for what is posted online.

Continually maintain confidential information regarding The Daniels Group. Employees are not to post or release The Daniels Group confidential client information

to the public. Disreputable content such as sexual, religious, ethnic, racial, and physical disability

smears are not tolerated. Employees need to fully obey The Daniels Group Code of Conduct-which is viewable in

our Employee handbook. Pornographic, distressing, offensive, and vilifying posts are prohibited. Employees are not allowed on their personal social media accounts while at work. The company social media account username and password will only be given to

employees who are instructed to actively post to the websites. The username and password will be given to each employee who is permitted and it will

NOT be changed under any circumstance Employees, if pictures of the office, employees, documents, clients, and etc. (unless

permitted) are posted to your social networking site (without permission) the employee who commits this act will be terminated.

Employees are allowed to access their personal social media accounts via personal device during break hours.

Employees are required to get permission for image and informational use from our selected photographers, former employees, and clients before posting to any social networking site, wiki, blog post, and etc.

If an employee encounters a threatening situation to the organization, employees will be required to send the troublesome information to the Human Resources Department.

If an employee has access to the company social media account, it is recommended that employees keep personal accounts and company accounts completely separate.

Company accounts will not be allowed access after work hours. If The Daniels Group finds that you have accessed the account outside of work hours, employees will be subject to punitive action or the employee will be terminated.

All financial, operational, and client information is confidential. All employees are required to allow Human Resources permission to access their

personal social media account if there is suspicious activity about The Daniels Group reported.

If an employee happens to have a “mess up” with their personal or the company social media account, clear the material as soon as possible. Fix your mistakes.

Employees should not speak to media in regards to the organization without contacting the Human Resources Department.
