Accident Medical Insurance

What is provided? Covers Medical Expenses to insured participants who are injured during a sanctioned and supervised activity

Who is Insured? Registered team members, coaches, managers, referees, officials and volunteers

What is a Covered Activity? Scheduled practices, games, organized GROUP travel or other sponsored activities under the direct supervision of a team official

$300,000 Maximum per injury $500 Deductible per injury 3-Year benefit period Excess coverage: Means policy pays after any

other applicable insurance benefits are paid; if no other insurance, this policy pays Primary

Accident Policy Benefits

Accident Policy covers the Reasonable and Customary charges for local treatment, services, and supplies:

90% of abuse victims know and trust the abuser Promote professional boundaries between adults

and youths whether by text, cell phone, or email Educate parents and coaches about signs of

grooming and empower them to recognize the “red flags”

All activities should be group activities (never one on one)

Background checks are not a silver bullet, however, are required for coaches and other individuals who have children under their care.
