• By staying off the roads, local departments of transportation are more easily able to access roads that need treatment, snow plows can more freely clear roads and get to areas needing plowing.

• R-ESF 15 has produced common messages for use regionally. These will be distributed in December for use by communicators during their promotions.– Communicators will use jurisdictional websites,
social media venues, media releases, PSAs, podcasts, online discussions, etc.
