How are coral reefs endangered?• A corals response to the reef is ejecting symbiotic algae which

makes it loose color, or bleach.

• Also handling organisms is very bad because it leaves damage.

• Over fishing also endangers reefs.

• Also starfish have started eating living polyps which is making the reef less alive.

• Water pollution also endangers a reef.

• Sedimintation is the key to endangering coral reefs.

• Runoff also endangers coral reefs.

• National Parks and Sanctuaries are a great way to help protect coral reefs.

When you go snorkeling don’t pollute or leave trash, and don’t touch any parts of

the reef or its inhabitants because this kills the reefs and once they are gone

snorkelers won’t be able to enjoy all the beautiful coral reefs in the world!
