The ‘Snail bench’ is a design inspired by Frank L Wrights ‘Humanist’ Values, love of organic shapes and the incorporation of nature Within design. The bench is designed for open public spaces like the Guggenheim Museum designed by Frank L Wright in 1943.

Steel case desk 1936 Designed for the S C Johnson Wax adminstration building.

As F L Wrights signature style was To design buildings and interiors with Large open spaces which often have a Remarkable sense of space and light Inside.

The bench is adaptable To its surroundings and Rotates around its central core Which can have a small tree Planted within.

Humanity..Considering ergonomics and Dimensions of everybody..from the Biggest man to the smallest child. The snail bench takes into account that People are all different sizes..especially In public spaces.

Organic..reflecting the structure of a shape that is organic, all aspects of the complete structure are relative to the design. Responding to each other and their surroundings

Nature..There is a strong natural element Within the bench. Its materials..solid wood. Its form..The shell, and the feature to Incorporate the living ‘tree’ as a central element to the design.
