Unrivaled precision for dosing, feeding, mixing, transferring or harvestingThe Finesse SmartPump series has been designed to meet high precision

liquid delivery requirements in upstream and downstream bioprocess

applications. The SmartPump series combines industry-known Watson

Marlow® pump heads with Finesse electronic SmartBoards. This pairing

guarantees optimized control of dosing, feeding, product transfer /

harvest, buffer mixing (gradient or step) or general liquid management.

Easy connection of new or replacement pumpsTo change the pump in the controller, install the SmartPump in the

cabinet, set the correct address on the electronics board, and connect

two cables (power and communication). Once the system is powered

on, TruBio software will do the rest: it will auto-detect the new pump

and any associated information. Simply calibrate and operate.

Unleash your controllerFinesse SmartPumps are standard in the G3 controller family and can

be easily swapped out if the process flow rate requirements change

or if the controller is used with a different size or type of vessel.

In G3 controllers, all SmartPump communication is aggregated

by a master communication board; this SmartCom board reads

process values from and sends instructions to the pumps. Each

SmartCom board can control up to eight Finesse SmartPumps.

This provides nearly unlimited options in process architecture.

Ordering Information

Warranty: Every SmartPump is warranted for one full year (12 months) from date of shipment against defects in material and workmanship. SmartPumps are field replaceable.

The standard tubing for the series 114 and 313 pumps has a 1.6 mm wall; the standard tubing for the series 520 pumps has a 2.4 mm wall.
