Stunning renovation October brought more than just the start of high season. It also meant the completion of the John’s Island West Clubhouse renovation. Croom Construction started the complex project in spring 2011 and completed it right on time in late October. The results are beautiful, and Club members are singing its praises.

This particular project is especially near and dear to Croom Construction since they also built the original clubhouse in 1987. Charles Croom, Vice President Operations, led the renovation project along with Jerry Phillips, Job Site Superintendant.

“Our crew often worked seven days a week to ensure the job was completed on time, and their morale remained high throughout the process,” Charles said. “We were able to stand back at the end of the project and look at the results with a great deal of pride – and that makes it all worthwhile,” he said.

Staff news Toys for Totstm

Every child deserves sweet holiday memories. So in lieu of traditional gift giving, Croom Construction Company once again donated enough toys for at least 500 children and youth in Indian River County. On December 14th, we presented the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Totstm program with new toys to be distributed over the holidays.

Precision gives McKee a hand (and a fresh new look)

On Saturday, January 28th, more than 10 employees from Precision Painting & Waterproofing donated their time and resources to help give McKee Botanical Gardens’ library a fresh new coat of paint. We really are “painting the town!”
