Energy Crisis and Resource Crisis forces us, nowmore than ever, to revise our strategies. No cli-ent and designer can ignore this new territory. In-door spaces and exhibitions are no exception tothis reality. More than 80 fairs per year, involvingmore than 20,000 companies occupying a totalarea of more than 1,200,000 m2 each year in thisExhibition venue. Floor is received and should beleft blank, before and after each show, this means

that are used and disposed over 1,200,000 squarem2 annually of textile oor. Considering that mostof the textile oor (carpet exhibition, rubber oor -ing, vinyl, etc ...) is served in rolls, each roll coveringapproximately 120 m2 and each roll cores are 600gr paper / m2 (cardboard) disposed over 10,000paperboard rolls along the 80 annual fairs.

The aim of this project is to use only wasted ma-terial (cardboard tubes) to build a 100% sustain-able pavilion that can be reused, that exploits thespatial and architectural possibilities offered bythis strategy, and create an exhibition space andconnection according to customer needs.

A triple ring with different privacy degreesdepending on the separation of cardboard tubes:

The outer ring (Exhibition) - a perimetric ramp hous-ing developments and solutions SIKA - inner ring(Social)- which houses the commercial meetingspaces and restoration - and the ring that housesthe store. The other condition is given formally byVenue rules, requiring setbacks of 1 m to reach 6m tall.

All areas, including oors and ceilings fol-low this philosophy. To achieve the characteris-tic yellow color of SIKA, and maintain ecologicalcommitment there is no chemical painting, the

colour is achieved with light (a system of yellow u-orescent following the curves of the morphologyand setbacks the stand, creating an atmosphere

of color in a row 100% recyclable cardboard.
