INTERIM PRESIDENT’S/NATIONAL SECRETARY’S REPORT Hi Everyone,

Firstly a reminder that our AGM will be held on the 22nd of September commencing at 10:00 am at the Ciloms

Airport Lounge, 398 Melrose Drive, Tullamarine 3042. Everyone is welcome to attend and this is a great

opportunity to meet the Committee, see how it operates and have your say on relevant matters. Our Committee

operates for the members and constructive feedback is always welcome and it would be of benefit for many to

see how the decision making process comes about and then implemented. You may also feel strongly enough

about our Society to want to be more involved within this process as we are always looking for new ideas and

knowledge that different people bring to committees to keep it fresh and moving forward.

There has also been much discussion around how we promote our Miniature Ponies and that potentially we

need to do more, therefore, the Committee of Management have taken this on board and will be having a stall

at Equitana in November this year which is being held at the Royal Melbourne Show grounds from

Thursday the 15th until Sunday the 18th. This is an exciting opportunity for our Society as the amount of

people that come through the gates of Equitana over these four days are amazing and will give us an op-

portunity to get the word out there about our wonderful ponies and fantastic Society. We will not be able

to do this without volunteers to help us over these four days so if you are able to help out in any way

please contact the Victorian State Delegate Maree Stringer for further information. This is something

that many members have been asking for which the committee has taken on board however if we don’t

receive the help to do this we will be unable to do more of these in the future so please if you can get be-

hind this it will then allow us to do more promotion.

Remember it takes all members to make this Society great
