Why would someone want to start a small business?

Potential opportunity for them to make a living on what they like to do.

Opportunity for the small business to grow. They can count on themselves to get the work done. Employ trusted workers to get work done efficiently in a

timely manner. They may earn more money rather than working for

someone else. Small Business is the fastest growing sector of the economy

and I think that people should continue to support people who have started small businesses.

When starting a business, these are terms that you need to know.

DBA, LLC, INC. If you are doing business as your name, you do not need a

DBA. DBA- (Doing business as) lets the public know that you are

doing business as an individual. LLC- (Limited Liability Company)- This company is separate

from the owner which carries its own legal protection like an incorporated business, but can carry own tax id number and created bank accounts under their name.

INC- (Incorporated) Big business that operates separate from the owners completely and provides protection to owners.

Type Protection from LiabilityDBA Provides no protection of personal

assets. Owner takes full responsibility

LLC Provides protection. Owner not personally liable.

INC Provides full protection of the owners. Business takes on full responsibility.

Summary

There are different types of business which are based on size. For a small business like ours, we are registered under DBA style. Small businesses run our local economy and is the fastest
