Become a manager, agent, club owner, share trader, speculator, or any combination of these in one huge

persistent, open-ended game world playing against thousands of users.

The Elite Championship

One exclusive massive multiplayer game world – “The Elite Championship”. With hundreds of clubs

competing against each other in leagues with weekly matches. Experience the classic real-time multiplayer

Manage the Club

Buy the right players, play the right tactics and compete against other managers.

Like a real manager, you will need the backing of your club’s shareholders.

Get paid a wage by the club.

Own the Club

Buy and sell shares in the clubs whose value may increase if the manager is successful on the pitch or

transfer market.

Vote in the hiring and firing of the club’s manager.

Get paid a weekly dividend from the club’s profits.

Player Agent

Look after your players and do what’s in their best interests for their careers.

You will need to have the support and trust of your players.

Get paid a weekly wage from each of your players’ salaries.

Own the Players

Buy and sell shares in players using your football knowledge to buy low and sell high.Vote in the hiring and

GETTING STARTED

To get started with Soccer Manager Elite (SM Elite or SME) and get your free starter pack, follow the

instructions below.

Sign Up at SoccerManagerElite.com

Go to www.soccermanagerelite.com and sign up.

Scroll down to the form at the bottom of the page, enter your email address, then click the JOIN THE BETA!

button. The registration takes about a minute, so in the meantime you’ll install and start SM Elite.

Download and Install SM Elite

Download SM Elite from here:

Once it’s finished downloading, install it.

When you first run the installer, you may get a Windows warning.

Click “More info”.

Click the Run anyway button. The installer will begin. Click Yes.

Choose your installation language.

Check the “I accept the agreement” radio button then click Next.

Accept the recommended installation folder and click Next.

If you have a previous installation of SM Elite, click Yes to install to the same folder. You do not need to

uninstall any previous versions of SM Elite.

Click Next.

Click Install to begin the installation.

If you are currently running a previous version of SM Elite, you will be prompted to shut it down. Check the

“Automatically close the application” radio button then click Next.

When the installation is complete, click Finish.

BACK UP YOUR WALLET/ACCOUNT

YOU ARE IN CONTROL OF YOUR ACCOUNT. NOBODY ELSE CAN AFFECT YOUR ACCOUNT OR RECOVER IT.

YOUR ACCOUNT IS IN YOUR “WALLET”.

YOU MUST BACK UP YOUR WALLET TO PROTECT IT AND YOUR ACCOUNT.

Backing up your account and wallet is very easy. You only need to save your “seed” in a safe place.

For Simple mode in SM Elite, do this:

1. Click the wallet icon in the upper-left corner

2. In the wallet popup, click SHOW SEED

3. !!! WARNING !!! DO NOT SHOW YOUR SEED TO ANYONE.

4. Click YES to display your seed in the text box at the bottom

5. Copy your seed and save it in a safe place, e.g.:

a. Print a physical copy and store safely

b. Copy it into a USB memory stick

c. Copy it into external storage

6. Click No to close the popup

Your SM Elite account is then safely stored in case you suffer a catastrophic failure, such as your

computer’s storage failing.

RUNNING SM ELITE

SM Elite will run automatically after you finish installing it.

Claim Your Free Starter Pack

Next, claim your free starter pack.

Click the SIGN UP button.

In the sign up popup, enter your email address (that you used to sign up at the website) and an account

name (no spaces or special characters) then click the SIGN UP button.

NOTE: Account names are public. DO NOT ENTER YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS FOR AN ACCOUNT NAME.

If you choose a common name, it may already be taken, so you’ll need to choose another.

It takes between 30 seconds to a minute to create your account. Just wait for a bit until it is finished.

Select your username and choose a data pack then click the LOGIN button.

The first time you login, XID will create an authentication token for you. This takes a few seconds.

You are now logged in and the game is fully loaded.

PLAY THE GAME

MAKING MONEY IN SM ELITE

You can make money in SM Elite as an investor (shareholder) and as a worker (manager or agent).

The in-game currency is SMC (Soccer Manager Coins). You use this for everything in the game, but it

doesn’t stop there. In a very real sense, you own your SMC. Nobody can take it away from you, not even the

game developers.

NOTE: When you first get your free starter pack with 20,000 SMC, your SMC will be PURPLE, but after a few seconds it will turn white and then you can spend it. Purple indicates a pending action, i.e. the action is

in the queue and will be done shortly.

Club Shareholder

● Club shareholders get paid 1% of the matchday income

● This 1% is split between all shareholders

● The more shares you hold in the club, the bigger portion of the 1% you receive

Player Shareholder

Player shareholders have 3 ways to make money:

● Money from regular player wages

● Money from cup/shield prizes

● Money from league prizes

NOTE: The value of shares can increase (or decrease) based on the demand for those shares in the market.

Players wages can go up/down (and as a result the shareholder payout) because the wage is directly linked

to the player’s rating.

Wages

● Player shareholders get paid 2% of the player’s weekly wage

● This 2% is split between all shareholders

● The more shares you hold in the player, the bigger portion of the 2% you receive

● Shareholders also receive an additional 2% of the player’s weekly wage if that player is in the

starting lineup

Cupshield Prizes

● Prize money is paid to a club if it either wins the cup/shield or comes second

● Player shareholders get paid 1% of a club’s cup/shield prize money (if any)

● This 1% is split between all shareholders

● The more shares you hold in the player, the bigger portion of the 1% you recieve

League Prizes

● Player shareholders get paid 1% of a club’s league prize money

● This 1% is split between all shareholders

● The more shares you hold in the player, the bigger portion of the 1% you recieve

Club Manager

● Managers get paid 0.2% of the club’s weekly TV money (it's about 0.1% of the club’s matchday

income on average)

● You can only be a manager for one club at a time

● Managers are appointed (and fired) by the club shareholders

Player Agent

● Agents get paid 0.1% of the player’s weekly wage

● You can be an agent for one or more players at any time

● Agents are appointed (and replaced) by the player shareholders

KEY ACTIONS

SM Elite is an evolution of the Soccer Manager family of games and among the first in an entirely new

gaming genre: true blockchain gaming. The following are some key actions that you’ll need to succeed in

this new gaming experience.

● View user profiles/portfolios

● Buy/sell club and player shares

● Propose/vote for managers/agents

● View fixtures and match reports

● View clubs and players

● Trading players (for managers)

VIEW USER PROFILES/PORTFOLIOS

Your profile area shows information about your career, your bank balance as well as any shares that you

own.

SM Elite is a social game and you can also see the same information about other users by looking at their

profile area.

There are several places where you can find other users to click on their name and display their profiles.

● Gameworld > Managers

● Users

● Club overview (for that club’s manager)

Simply click the user’s name to display their profile.

Profile areas have the following information:

● Portfolio: What shares are owned

● Accounts: What has been spent and received (SMC)

● Career: Career as a club manager

● Agents: What players are managed as an agent

● Share orders: Open buy/sell orders for club/player shares

BUYING & SELLING SHARES

Shares pay dividends, so the more you have, the more SMC (Soccer Manager Coins) you get. They can also

go up or down in price in the market, so you can potentially profit from trading (buying and selling) in the

markets.

The markets for club and player shares are under the respective club/player’s Shares tab in the Order Book

tab.

Buying and selling shares is as simple as entering:

● The price you want to buy at

● The quantity of shares that you want

● Then clicking the Buy or Sell button

When BUYING, if you bid at or over the lowest price in the order book, you will get 1 or more shares.

However, your order may not be entirely filled if there aren’t enough shares for sale at that price. In this

case, the portion of your unfilled order will remain in the order book until it is filled or until you cancel it. If

you bid lower than the lowest sell order, your order will remain in the order book until it is filled (someone

sells at that price) or until you cancel it.

Selling shares works similar to buying, just in reverse.

PROPOSE/VOTE FOR MANAGERS/AGENTS

Shareholders with 5% or more of the shares in a club or player can propose a new manager for a club or a

new agent for a player. Proposals last several days or until more than 50% of shares have voted for 1

candidate. All shareholders can vote for managers and agents irrespective of how many shares they have.

Owning more shares gives you a more powerful vote. At the end of a voting period, the candidate with the

most votes wins.

Proposing or voting for a manager/agent is done in the club/player overview under Shares > Vote.

To propose a new manager or agent:

1. Click the Propose a manager or Propose an agent button

2. Enter the candidate’s name. Note that it is case sensitive and must be exact, e.g. “Bob”, “BOB”, and

“bob” are all different

3. Click the Submit button

To vote:

1. Go to the voting screen under Shares > Vote

2. Click the Vote button for who you want to vote for

VIEW FIXTURES AND MATCH REPORTS

There are several places where you can find fixtures and match results.

The club overview lists the club’s last and next fixture. You can view the match report for the last fixture by

clicking the Match Report button.

You can view the list of all past and future fixtures in a club’s Schedule tab.

You can see all fixtures for all clubs for a particular date and league by clicking the Matches menu item on

the left.

Match Reports

As mentioned above, you can view match reports by clicking a Match Report button.

Match reports consist of 3 tabs:

● Match lineups

● Match information

● Match commentary

Match report

The Match Lineups tab displays all the players in a chart with various events, such as red/yellow cards and

goals/assists. More information and details are available on the Match Information and Match

Commentary tabs.

VIEW CLUBS AND PLAYERS

Virtually anywhere in the game that you see the name of a club or the name of a player, you can click on it

to view that club or player.

TRADING PLAYERS

Club managers can buy and sell players between teams.

To sell a player:

1. Go to your club Squad tab

2. Click a player

3. In the player view screen, click the Sell Player button on the left

4. Enter a bid

5. Click the Sell button

To buy a player:

1. Click Transfer Market in the left menu

2. Click a player

3. Enter a bid

4. Click the Place Bid button

Once a bid is placed, it cannot be canceled. This prevents fake bids from driving up the price.
