Fire is a tragedy that must be avoided by taking precautionary measures recommended by the BOMBA. Fire can cause loss of property and lives is something detrimental to society and the nation according to the Kementerian Perumahan dan Kerajaan Tempatan (KPKT,2010).

SCOPE1. to review the existing fire prevention and

collect information.

2. This study refers to the uniform building by law (UBBL 1984), national fire protection association (NFPA 1975) and codes of practice recognized by the Fire and Rescue Department Malaysia.
