Eligible Expenses for DGEsAs of 1 July 2007:

• Printing of business cards, stationery (including letterhead and envelopes)

• Mailing of PETS materials to club presidents-elect

• Travel expenses for district team training seminar, district assembly, and PETS

• Travel expenses for conducting site visits for district conference.

As of 1 January 2008:• Telephone line, cell phone account, fax line, and internet access – rental & calls – no line installation costs

Official Directory Data Form

• In November, RI sends OD form to clubs

• End of December, clubs inform RI about incoming club officers

• DGE can consult this data in Member Access on the RI Website (View Incoming Officers)

• If clubs have updated their data, the DGE can send an e-card to them during the IA, which includes the new RI President’s theme

Council on Legislation• Per capita dues will increase starting in 2008-

2009 to $24.00 and prorated dues will change

• Starting in the 2008-09 Rotary year, the number of nominating committee for RI president increases from 17 to 34.

• RI Board is authorized to suspend or terminate a club that fails to investigate an allegation that a member violated youth protection laws

• 2010 Council on Legislation delegates to be selected by 30 June 2008

• 2010 RC proposals for legislation to be submitted by 31 December 2008
