Talkmitt, EdD 39. CoPs Communities of Practice Often teachers in PLCs turn to communities of practice (CoPs) to develop their own identities and roles to meet the educational organizations goals. What are your beliefs and perceptions on the use of technology in your teaching and assessment FOR learning? 1. I believe students should be assessed more subjectively with portfolios and other subjective methods. 2. I believe that you cant adequately assess students in some subjects. 3. My course is not assessed at this grade level or subject area. 4. I dont have the time to learn the technology. 5. I dont have the support that I need to learn the technology. 6. I cant work with her/him. We cant work together. 7. Data doesnt show everything that my students need to know. 8.
