devices. 10. Understand the applied anatomy and physiology relevant

to supraglottic devices. 11. Discuss the uses and limitations of the different

supraglottic devices. 12. Discuss the future trends in the evolution of supraglottic

devices. 13. Identify common airway problems in the postoperative

period 14. Describe the recognition and management of common

airway problems in the recovery room. 15. Develop criteria for the management and disposition of

subsets of patients from the post anesthetic care unit 16. Identify important article on airway in major

anesthesiology journals. 17. Briefly describe the methodology and results of these

articles. 18. Recognize the impact of these articles on contemporary

airway management in pediatric patients.
