Frameless insulated sliding doors | Swiss Made
is a unique system for large-surface
sliding doors with a frame that can be installed flush with the walls, ceiling and
floor – a 20 mm vertical mullion where two sections overlap is all that is
visible of the frame. This makes for unimpeded panoramic views and threshold-free
transitions between the inside and the outside. Besides offering esthetic
advantages, the system also meets the highest standards in thermal insulation
and safety.

A hint of glassThe most beautiful windows are in- visible. A paradox statement in many ways but it holds true for Sky-Frame. Because with Sky-Frame trans-parency takes centre stage. It’s not the window that is the focus; it’s the light, the landscape and the sky that become the centre of attention.
Flowing spaces Floor to ceiling glass walls with Sky-Frame fit into floors, walls and ceilings seamlessly. Transitions be- tween rooms are flush and align perfectly. Boundaries between rooms disappear and open up into beautiful flowing spaces.
Soaked in light Daylight means warmth. Bright rooms appear balanced and invigorating – and that translates to quality of life. Sky-Frame offers that 98% of the light actually enters into the room and thereby guarantees rooms that are flooded with light.
Exploring the possibilities Wall to wall and floor to ceiling glass: Sky-Frame makes it possible. Sky-Frame makes impressive window fronts with a height of up to 4 meters. And even corners are an option. Fixed and sliding elements can be com- bined to meet any design idea.
Indoors is outdoors. And outdoors is indoors. Window fronts with Sky-Frame make it possible to combine sliding and fixed elements on up to five tracks. And with our attractive corner solutions not even a bar profile remains standing in the corner when the win- dow is opened.
The push of one finger is enough to open the windowSky-Frame windows open easily. Only the remote control makes it even easier. With our automated solutions, we install drive technology that opens and closes the windows quickly and silently.
Optimal insulation with maximum transparencySky-Frame combines large open glass surfaces with optimal thermal insulation. The unique, continuous separation of inner and outer shells provides unparalleled insulation values.
Perfect appearance. Perfectly safe. Thanks to tempered safety glass, Sky-Frame provides optimal security solutions. We also install laminated glass in high rise buildings or as an additional burglary protection. All combinations may also be equipped with security systems.
System Sky-Frame
Sky-Frame consists of insulated glass panels, to which a profile of fiberglass-reinforced epoxy resin (GRP) has been bonded. The panels are placed in aluminum frames built into the floor, wall and ceiling. The sliding panels rest on low-resistance ball-bearing rollers. The vertical aluminum frame components are fastened to the GRP profile. If the system is flush-mounted, drainage takes place via a recessed channel or beneath the front-mounted wooden grille.

Sky-Frame 2
Sky-Frame was launched onto the market in 2002, since when it has been installed in over 1300 properties. Sky-Frame 2 has impressive engineering and elegance. The filigree system with its 30 mm thick insulating glass elements has proven itself in the wide range of climatic zones from the coast to the Alps. It can be used anywhere where the extremely efficient insulation of Sky-Frame 2 is sufficient.

Sky-Frame 3
Sky-Frame 3 was developed for properties where extremely high de mands are made of the thermal insulation. This system operates with 54 mm thick triple glazing. The additional stability of its glass panels means that it can withstand stronger winds. The success of this development was confirmed by the certification as first metal MINERGIE® sliding window (www.minergie.ch).
