Problematique

• New Opportunities▫ There is an immense

opportunity today for new education approaches, new modes of delivery, better curricula and learning outcomes.

Use Tomorrow’s

Skills to Become

Better Today

• Soft Skills▫ SOFT SKILLS are

increasingly becoming the HARD SKILLS of today's work force

• 90% are Micro SMEs▫ Within micro-

sized ICT firms across Europe there had been little focus on soft skills development

• New Skills Needed▫ Employees need

to become more entrepreneurial, creative, innovative and customer oriented in order to create higher value

• A Big Gap▫ However, soft skills are still

among the key skill gaps; according to both European and national evidence, a range of soft skills will become increasingly important for both ICT specialists and the rest of the sector’s workforce.
