Night skiing at the Gudiberg

(Note: For advanced skiers only!)

Ski touring along the Riffelriss

This tour starts right at the Eibsee-Hotel.

Enjoy the beautiful winter landscape away from the crowds and climb up the Riffelriss.

At the top, you are rewarded with a unique view over the Eibsee and

The Alps of Oberammergau in the background!

Height difference of 650 m - walking time about 2 hours

Snowshoeing at the mountain “ Wank”

A cable car takes you up the Wank, known as Garmisch-Partenkirchen’s sun mountain.

From here you have a fantastic view over the Werdenfelser countryside,

with its impressive range of the Wetterstein mountains.

The tour first takes you over a high plain,

then trough a pretty grove to the mountain lodge “Esterbergalm”.

After a cozy rest, a snowy forest trail leads you back to the valley.

Snowshoeing to Stuiben

Discover a fantastic landscape off the beaten track.

A cable car takes you up to the Kreuzeck. From there you follow the trail over the ski

slope and then hike up a hill to the hut of Stuiben (unstaffed!).

After a nice rest we take the same route back to the cable car station.

A wonderful winter hike at the foot of the Alpine peaks.

Torchlight hike around the Eibsee

An absolute must-do during your stay!

With torches in your hands, the tour may start around the Eibsee.

Simply gorgeous ... the snowy mountains and the frozen lake!

Ice sports

Our natural ice rink, only 100 m away from the hotel,

awaits your for ice skating and curling!

In case, the weather conditions do not permit ice sports,

the Olympic Ice Sport Center in Garmisch-Partenkirchen is just 15 minutes away by car.

On Tuesdays from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm,

the Ice Sport Center offers disco ice skating.

Walk through the gorge Partnach to Eckbauer

Starting at the ski stadium in Garmisch –Partenkirchen,

this tour leads through a magical world of rock and ice. Following a beautiful trail, you

will reach the summit. After a nice rest at the Eckbauer, we have the choice to walk down

to the valley, go by cable car or even by sledge.

Walking time about 2.5 hours

Sled tour to St. Martin's hut

With perfect snow, this is an unforgettable experience for you and your kids!

Carry your sledge uphill for about an hour, you will enjoy a unique view of

Garmisch-Partenkirchen – the snowy mountains in the background.

After a cozy break at the St. Martin hut, you race back down to the valley!

Small Eibsee Discovery Tour

Start right from the hotel, you may start your Eibsee discovery tour.

The leads long the lake shore and then through the forest until you loop back to the lake.

After a nice break with stunning views over the Eibsee, you return to the hotel.

Sledges are available for rental at the reception!

For guests with the GrainauCard a ride with the public blue EIBSEE-Bus

and the Cogwheel train of the Zugspitze between

Eibsee and Garmisch-Partenkirchen is free of charge!
