Chick Corea & The Spanish Heart Quartet with special guest Rubén Blades $20,000 Saturday, August 8 Jazz legend and 23-time Grammy winner Chick Corea brings his latest musical adventure to Skaneateles. With Chick at the piano, the Spanish Heart Quartet, a flamenco-charged ensemble, will be joined by vocalist Rubén Blades for an evening of Latin, Spanish, and jazz. WEEK 2 Calidore Quartet: The Hunt $3,500 Thursday, August 13 The Calidore Quartet is the hottest young quartet on the scene today. Their compelling program features Mozart’s “The Hunt” as well as Brahms’ String Quartet No. 3 and an adrenaline-inducing new quartet by Germany’s leading composer, Jörg Widmann. The Russian Soul $4,000 Friday, August 14 The Calidore Quartet join pianist, Andrew Russo, and Artistic Directors, Aaron Wunsch and Julia Bruskin in a program of soulful Russian music.
