Siyathuthuka Mining saw the need in drilling ofexplosion holes for the Opencast Mining Sector andestablished the business which is 51% black owned.

Our wealth of experience in mining, related fields as well as in diverse industry sectors is currently driving the Company to its future success levels. The Company is proudly South African and plans to boost the economy through job creation and youth empowerment.

Each of our sites runs a Forman file contributing to our Safety Management system which contains the following documentations:

This provides an organized system that helps to prevents incidents and accidents from occurring. We run this system not only to comply to the Mine Health and Safety Act, but because we feel obligated to give our workers a safe and healthy environment to work in, and the legal compliance of safety documentation assist us to reach that goal.

Contractors Pack

We at Siyathuthuka Mining create our own contractors pack to suite our client's needs. We have all our own legal documentation including Procedures and Risk assessments necessary in our scope of work. Siyathuthuka Mining can also prepare a contractor's pack on a client's format if they require it. We have our own procedures because the mine or our clients differs from our operating procedures and methods. All Siyathuthuka Mining employees are trained on these procedures to ensure good production in a safe and effective manner.Six metre containers are used for a site office, storage for oil, parts, generators and grinding drill bits. The area and containers are kept up to Health and Safety requirements for example fire extinguishers, safety signage and waste management. We ensure our employees comply and follow our procedures and perform functions safely by giving them accurate training and continues re-training on all Siyathuthuka Minings SOP's, Risk assessments and policy's.
