Facilitating a change of perspective that looks beyond job roles and hierarchies requires refreshing design ideas like the Sitzbock pommel horse seat, which inspires both the body and the mind to try something different. You can sit astride, “ride side saddle,” or use it to lean on. Made from through-dyed polypropylene in four colors and weighing just 4.8 kg (101/2 lbs), the seats are easy to place in groups, stack crosswise or pick up and take outside for a while. Anyone preferring a little more comfort can add a non-slip felt “saddle blanket” to their Sitzbock.

FunctionA pommel horse seat weighing just 4.8 kg that’s ideal for infor-mal interaction in kitchenettes, bistros and workshops and ena-bles a range of different postures: users can lean on it, sit side saddle or position themselves astride it.

Body/frameFour-leg seat made of through-dyed polyethylene in black, white, grey or orange-red with non-slip multipurpose glides. Also suitable for temporary use in outdoor rooms. Up to four Sitzbock pom-mel horse seats can be stacked across one another.Optional felt blanket in anthracite, a light mot-tled hue, graphite or mango with a rubber underside which is attached with ten expanding rivets.

Please note:can be used outdoors.  When exposed to ultra violet rays for long periods of time, the colours of plastics can change slightly.Felt is a natural product. There-fore, there can be differences in the colour. These differences are not a justified reason for complaint but underscore the material’s uniqueness.
