SITE UPGRADECRONULLA BOAT RAMP Sutherland Shire Council is upgrading Cronulla Boat Ramp.
The boat ramp will be closed from 17 June till 31 October 2019 to carry out the work.
The work includes:• Demolition of the old boat ramp and part of the
existing seawall• Construction of a new boat ramp and pontoon with a
step to launch small craft• Minor asphalt resurfacing to carpark
This work will provide:• Improved access and safety for waterway users• Improved access for people with disabilities• Upgrade of boat ramp and jetty for small craft
launching• Improved quality of pavement and wearing surface
The car park will remain open throughout the work although there will be reduced parking.
During the work there may be:• Disruption to traffic• Reduced parking• Noise and dust
Work will take place Monday to Friday from 7am–6pm and Saturdays from 7am-4pm.
