4100 Building is a structure located in a prestigious area in Miami, Florida called Miami Design Destrict. It is well known for its’ architecture and luxurious stores.

Building Analysis Structure

The Building has existing interior columns which we need to take into account in the design progress. Multiple options can be taken into consideration like covering the columns by either partition walls or built in millwork, or make it a design feature.

Building Analysis Zoning & Circulation

The building is a public and open space, because of this, circulation will be flowing easily. It only keeps a private status to the building’s employees.

Building Analysis Quality

Spaces on first and second level connect through a medullar space which has access to service elevators and service staircases. Second Floor is connected to a parking garage through a ramp on the West side. Main entrances to the store lies on the West, South and East.

Building Analysis Concept Model

The abstract form of the gold rounded structure respresents the DYNAMIC of the Design District and its LUXURY by the color.The Angular form represents the existing the existing buildings in the area.The gray structure represents the site to be developed. It is also an invitation to bring all the elements of the Design District to this place in particular.VARIETY is conceptually represented with the different colors and the contrast between angular / organic forms and their different sizes.The diversity of CULTURE / COMMUNITY that can be found in the Design District are illustrated with the triangles in different colors and scales. All of them are interconnected with the DYNAMIC flow of the District, also represented with all the curves and organic shapes.

1999-2006 - Recognized for various works like the Avalon Hotel and Maison 40 Hotel in Beverly Hills, The Viceroy in Palm Springs, the Tides Hotel, among others

2004 - 2012 Published four books, her first book “Modern Glamour: The art of unexpected style” Co-written with Jane Bo-gart. Domicilium Decora-tus, Hue, and Rhapsody.

2008 - Introduced a line of decorative home goods for New York based department store Bergdof Goodman.

2011 - KWID had designed rugs for the Rug Company and Fine China for Pickard China.
